THE BARN
The Barn was built in the 1800's and retains many of its original features, yet offers the convenience of heating, private bathrooms, a built-in bar, additional lighting, and heated exterior walkways. Our unique downtown location means that even in the spring months you and your guests can stroll to restaurants, shops and Wolfeboro’s Lake Winnipesaukee waterfront before and after your wedding events. The Barn at Pickering House accommodates up to 150 people for sit-down events.
THE AVERY ROOM
Conveniently located next door to the Barn at Pickering House, the Avery Room is the perfect location for rehearsal dinners or as a versatile get-ready space for the wedding party. This eclectic yet tasteful space features open ceilings, a dining loft, service kitchen, private bathroom, and outdoor covered porch.
LUXURY ACCOMMODATIONS
The registered guests staying at the Inn enjoy an amazing stay while at the property. Guest Rooms of the Pickering House Inn offer luxurious, spacious bathrooms (featuring heated floors!), and high-end products and linens all add to the wonderful experience. Our gourmet breakfast is served each morning, afternoon snacks and beverages are provided as well.

Spring Weddings
While each of the seasons in New Hampshire are truly special, the romantic ambiance of a beautiful spring evening can be the ideal backdrop for your special day. Spring Wedding Weekends at the Pickering House Inn capture the beauty of the area and this quieter season. Prices for Inn guest rooms reflect this quieter time as well. While outdoor spaces may not be available (subject to weather), Pickering's versatile venue spaces provide numerous logistical options for wedding events up to 80 guests.
