THE PICKERING EXPERIENCE
Each year, we host a select number of wedding weekends and boutique "micro" weddings at Pickering House. Our property provides the perfect setting for your wedding events. All of our wedding events include the use of our beautifully restored Barn, outdoor patios and for your selected guests, lodging in our beautifully styled hotel.
The Barn at Pickering House opened in August 2018 after a complete renovation. The Barn was built in the 1800s and retains many of its original features, yet offers the convenience of central air conditioning, heating, private bathrooms, a built-in bar and additional lighting. Our unique downtown location means that you and your guests can stroll to restaurants, shops and Wolfeboro’s Lake Winnipesaukee waterfront before and after your wedding events.

The Barn at Pickering House accommodates up to 150 people for sit-down events. It features:

REHEARSAL DINNERS & RECEPTIONS
Our wedding weekends include the reserving of the full, 10 room hotel (with a minimum night reservation requirement applicable by season). You and your registered guests staying with us have exclusive use of the hotel and enjoy the full Pickering House experience.

30-Guest Micro Wedding | $7,500
Host an intimate gathering for up to 30 guests in our beautifully restored Barn, where historic character and modern comfort create a warm yet refined setting. Your celebration includes private use of The Barn, a chef-curated buffet dinner for 30 guests and a three-hour open bar. Additional guests may be accommodated at $150 per person. Maximum 64 guests.
For a more elevated dining experience, couples may select a Tier I plated dinner for $600 with additional guests at $170 per person, or a Tier II plated dinner for $1500, with additional guests at $200 per person.
50-Guest Micro Wedding | $10,000
Designed for up to 50 guests, this collection offers a sophisticated yet intimate reception experience, blending historic timber beams with polished, modern service. The celebration includes private use of The Barn, a chef-curated buffet dinner for 50 guests and a three-hour open bar. Additional guests may be accommodated at $150 per person. Maximum 64 guests.
Enhance your evening with a Tier I plated dinner for $1,000, with additional guests at $170 per person, or a Tier II plated dinner for $2,500, with additional guests at $200 per person.
