Pickering House was built in the 1820’s by successful Wolfeboro businessman Daniel Pickering. Over its almost two century history, the Pickering has been many things, from a private homestead, to a boarding house and tavern, to an antiques shop and apartment building. More recently, this historic landmark was threatened with demolition.
Today, we are proud to lovingly renovate this beautiful building and barn to once again welcome guests to downtown Wolfeboro. When completed, the inn will feature:
10 guest rooms
Two living rooms
Private dining/meeting room
