We’ve invited some of our favorite chefs to host amazing dinner events in The Barn at Pickering House! The pop-up events are a fun way for these chefs to showcase their talents as we all get back to the dining we love! Our goal is to provide Inn guests and the community a memorable dining experience, while shining a spotlight on talented area chefs who have weathered an incredibly challenging year for the restaurant and catering industry. Growing up in a family of restaurant owners who immigrated from Budapest, Hungary, Chef Krisztina learned the recipes and traditions of her family’s culture. Today, she incorporates her native culture in creative menus that have earned her a devoted following as both a sought-after wedding caterer and a cooking instructor. She teaches demonstration-style cooking classes at Stonewall Kitchen in York, ME and you can cook alongside her at Kitchen Local in Amesbury, MA and at Cambridge Center for Adult Education in Cambridge, MA. Chef Krisztina founded Wooden Spoon Catering Company in 2013 in Amesbury, Massachusetts. SEATING: We are joyfully returning to the communal seating at long farm tables that have become our beloved tradition. Attendees are respectfully requested to be vaccinated as this will be a mask-less event designed to recapture the norms we have all so eagerly anticipated.
