There’s no two ways about it – renovating a historic property is expensive. It takes time and resources (and often a lot of ingenuity) to adapt old structures to modern needs. It is typically much faster and less expensive to build new, but we feel that saving our historic structures is invaluable and essential to preserving the character of our community. Fortunately, wonderful corporate citizens like Eastern Propane agree.
Eastern Propane and Oil is the first of a number of New Hampshire businesses who are helping Pickering House Inn become a reality by offering in-kind support. Eastern is making a substantial contribution toward the cost of the heating and cooling system that the company is installing at Pickering House.
Eastern’s support for Pickering House reflects the company’s long tradition of community involvement. “We want to do our part. That’s what being a good neighbor is all about,” explains Josh Anderson, Eastern's Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Eastern Propane and Oil has been family-owned and -operated since 1932. With corporate headquarters in Rochester, NH, Eastern serves more than 85,000 residential and commercial customers in communities throughout Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Eastern provides a wide range of services including propane and oil delivery & service, home heating appliance sales & installation, commercial heating & cooling systems, construction/temporary heat services and more.
Eastern will begin working on our heating and cooling system this summer.
Thank you, Eastern!
